Perusall

Perusall is a collaborative reading and annotation tool, developed at Harvard University by distinguished professors: Gary King, Eric Mazur and Brian Lukoff. Students can annotate on the assigned readings (e.g. PDF readings, textbooks) and asynchronously respond to each other’s comments and questions about the readings in context.

Perusall extends the collective in-class experience, through enabling students to get instant answers to their questions, learn more, be prepared, and enjoy the experience. Instead of a generic Q&A platform, Perusall allows students to proactively engage each other on their readings and, provide (automated) personalised guidance.

As a faculty, you can add Perusall using the LTI integration in Canvas LMS. To setup the Perusall account in Canvas, please contact the EdTech team at edtech@yale-nus.edu.sg
